The Bachelor of Music program equips students for All-Level Choral and Instrumental Certification. Upon fulfilling the degree requirements, students can apply to the College of Education to complete coursework for their Texas Teacher Certificate. The curriculum includes comprehensive training in instrumental and choral conducting, teaching methods, instrument-specific classes (woodwind, brass, strings, percussion), early childhood and elementary music education, along with courses in music pedagogy strategies and assessment. UTA's Vocal Arts program fosters artistic growth in a supportive setting, with distinguished faculty guiding students toward careers as performers and educators through rigorous training and performance opportunities.
