The Mathematics Department Honors Program provides an advanced academic track for exceptional students, allowing them to take graduate-level math courses as early as their third year. This rigorous program thoroughly prepares participants for graduate studies or high-demand careers in mathematics and related disciplines. Unlike most fields, mathematics graduate students typically receive full financial support through assistantships or fellowships covering tuition and providing a yearly stipend. Over recent years, every honors graduate applying for a math graduate assistantship has secured at least one offer from a top-tier graduate program. Alumni have also successfully pursued advanced degrees in diverse fields including computer science, economics, education, finance, law, medicine, and statistics.

To apply for admission as an undergraduate student, each international student is required to provide the following:
A completed application for undergraduate admission.
Complete one required essay chosen from one of seven prompts.
Optional: Submit recommendation letters (academic, professional, or personal) and a Personal Statement.
