The Department of Biosystems Engineering and Soil Science provides three bachelor's degree options: a Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science and Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Soil Sciences. The Biosystems Engineering (BSE) program holds accreditation from ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission (www.abet.org), meeting both General Criteria and Biological Engineering Program Standards. The BSE curriculum focuses on engineering solutions for biological systems. The construction science and management track is a four-year degree designed for future construction industry leaders. The environmental and soil sciences program offers rigorous scientific training for those pursuing careers in these fields, with an optional minor available.
