The University of Tampa's sport management program equips students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training for thriving careers in the sports industry.
UT's Bachelor of Science in Sport Management holds specialized accreditation from COSMA (Commission on Sport Management Accreditation). The program blends sport management classes with Sykes College of Business coursework, plus a 12-credit internship with sports organizations. All sport management courses are taught by six experienced full-time faculty members with professional sports industry backgrounds (no teaching assistants).
The program combines specialized sport management instruction with business courses from Sykes College, along with 12 internship credits working with sports organizations. Every sport management class is led by full-time professors with real-world sports industry experience (graduate assistants are not used for instruction).
