UT's musical theatre program equips students with professional skills for the performing arts. This comprehensive major blends training across three key disciplines: vocal music, acting, and movement. Each year, performers can showcase their talents in six mainstage productions (including two full musicals, two dramatic plays, a musical revue, and an avant-garde studio piece) plus various choral performances. Dance involvement is highly recommended through additional production opportunities. Beyond stage experience, the curriculum includes masterclasses, guest artist seminars, specialized courses, and unique extracurricular events during the school year.
