The health education specialization is available as an elective option for students pursuing a B.S. in public health. This specialization deepens knowledge in research, health promotion initiatives, and educational program development. Students who complete the Health Education Specialization gain the expertise to guide public health interventions from needs assessment to implementation and quality control. Those earning their B.S. in public health with this specialization may qualify to take the Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) examination.
