USCB's location provides ideal access to the Sea Islands Coastal Region's natural features, enabling hands-on student training in environmental preservation. Research possibilities involve - Analyzing underwater recordings to study snapping shrimp behavior, fish spawning cycles, and bottlenose dolphin feeding habits and vocalizations.
