Our program provides a Bachelor of Arts in film and media studies, where students develop media literacy while exploring global media history, industry economics, and core disciplinary concepts. Alumni have pursued careers in independent and commercial film production worldwide, while others have entered graduate programs or professions in archival science, business, or education.

Unique aspects of this program include collaborative projects with Media Arts, access to Moving Image Research Collections' exceptional archives, and faculty-guided independent research on diverse media topics. Students may also qualify for a B.A. with Leadership Distinction through significant extracurricular engagement.

Coursework typically involves analyzing media content (films, comics, games, etc.) before classroom discussions. Required materials are available through each course's Blackboard platform.
