The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program enhances every student's prior education. Typically, students complete general university prerequisites during the initial two years, taking classes in sciences, mathematics, arts, and humanities, followed by two years of specialized nursing training. The College of Nursing provides an accelerated option for those holding a bachelor's degree in another discipline. Furthermore, registered nurses with an Associate Degree in Nursing or diploma can pursue the RN-to-BSN track. The BSN program builds upon each student's existing educational foundation. The curriculum generally divides into two phases: foundational university courses in various disciplines during the first half, and intensive nursing education in the latter half. The CON features a fast-track alternative for degree holders from other fields, along with a dedicated pathway for RNs seeking to upgrade their qualifications from an ADN or diploma program.
