Chemical Engineering applies mathematical, chemical, and scientific knowledge through research and practical experience to create cost-effective methods for utilizing materials and energy to serve humanity. Professionals in this field design industrial equipment and develop production methods for chemicals and goods like petroleum products, synthetic materials, plastics, cleaning agents, construction materials, paper, medicines, and electronic components. The Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department provides a Bachelor of Science program in Chemical Engineering, which involves completing 126 credit hours for graduation.
Applicants must have completed a secondary schools with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5. English Proficiency Requirement: Minimum IELTS: 5.5, Minimum TOEFL: 61, Minimum Pearson Academic: 44, Minimum iTEP: 3.6, Minimum Duolingo: 95.
