We strive to establish excellence in medical training while pioneering advancements in how future doctors are educated
We enhance community and individual wellbeing through a progressive medical program that values diversity, compassion, and lifelong learning.
Throughout four years, the Double Helix CurriculumTranslations and Transitions covers both fundamental medical sciences and practical patient care applications. The curriculum's scientific components evolve from core biological sciences to include behavioral health and health informatics as students progress. Clinical training begins early to rapidly develop patient interaction and diagnostic abilities. Inspired by the University's Meliora ("ever better") philosophy, our Medical Humanities program and three key themes - Team-Based Care, Digital Health, and Physician Growth - form continuous learning threads across all years.
