Our program aims to develop outstanding clinical medical physicists specializing in radiation therapy. Ideal applicants will possess a solid foundation in undergraduate-level physics, though a physics degree isn't mandatory. We welcome students from diverse backgrounds including computer science, data science, imaging science, engineering, chemistry, and biology. Additional advantages include experience with image processing, object-oriented programming, machine learning, or radiation physics. Each student must finish a thesis research project before graduation. Previous research experience and publications will strengthen an applicant's profile.

Qualification Requirements

Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physics
OR
Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a closely related field, such as natural science or engineering AND must have the equivalent of at least 3 non-introductory physics courses that would be suitable for a minor in physics.
Courses can be substituted if the applicant can demonstrate equivalence with:

Copy of Course Syllabus
Must submit an official transcript for verification
GPA > 3.0. GPA out of 4.0
