Earth and environmental sciences (EES) combines chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, and computer science to examine Earth and planetary systems, encompassing atmospheric, aquatic, terrestrial, geological, and climatic systems. Research in global systems explores planetary formation and evolution processes, from their beginnings to the present, applying this knowledge to predict future changes.

The environmental studies BA program directs students with environmental management interests through a curriculum bridging natural and social sciences. Graduates of this program may pursue advanced studies in areas such as:
