The Applied Research Methods for Child and Youth Serving Organizations (ARMO) concentration prepares professionals in applied research to generate meaningful studies that assess and improve vital programs supporting young people's growth. Today's youth-serving institutions face growing demands to gather and interpret diverse data for tracking results, refining operations, and proving impact. Yet many child-focused groups operate with limited staff and budgets, creating challenges for data-driven initiatives. Addressing this gap, the ARMO program develops practitioners through hands-on research approaches to examine program operations, effectiveness, and results while advancing broader understanding in the field.
