The Master of Computer and Information Technology (MCIT) program is a challenging graduate curriculum designed for high-achieving students without previous Computer Science background, enabling them to build thriving careers in computing and technology. Many graduates secure sought-after interdisciplinary positions or dedicated software engineering roles. MCIT operates on the principle that providing advanced computer science education to individuals with diverse undergraduate degrees creates exceptional career opportunities. Our alumni's professional achievements powerfully validate this approach. Academically inclined graduates may also pursue higher-level computer science studies. Given MCIT's focus, it exclusively admits applicants with minimal or no computer science experience. Those holding undergraduate degrees in Computer Science or similar fields are encouraged to apply to the Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) program.
Candidates with an undergraduate major in Computer Science or closely related fields, should consider applying to the Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) program instead.
Applicants must have obtained a 3 or 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited School or University prior to intended matriculation date for online option.
