The Health and Societies (HSOC) program explores health and medicine through a societal lens, providing students with analytical skills and interdisciplinary knowledge for careers in public health, healthcare services, and diverse professional fields. This curriculum is grounded in three foundational disciplines: anthropology, history, and sociology. Additional methodologies from epidemiology, political science, business/economics, legal studies, environmental science, and bioethics enhance the core subjects, equipping students with comprehensive tools to understand modern healthcare systems. Graduates emerge as versatile thinkers, proficient in multiple social science approaches—theoretically grounded yet solution-oriented, with both international awareness and hands-on community experience.
