This program prepares students for careers in physician offices, medical clinics, hospitals, and related healthcare settings. Participants will develop fundamental communication abilities, master specialized medical vocabulary for completing forms, maintaining records, processing insurance claims, and become proficient in using computer applications for document creation and internet navigation. Program Outcomes: Graduates will demonstrate essential communication skills, apply medical terminology for record-keeping and insurance documentation, and utilize software for basic document preparation and web navigation (with a minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute).
