Discover the ideal program for your career path. Select from our conventional two-year master's in Conflict and Dispute Resolution or our adaptable hybrid graduate certificate in Institutional and Organizational Conflict Management.
You have the option to pursue either a Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) in conflict and dispute resolution, while also combining it with a concurrent degree, graduate certificate(s), and/or specialization(s) alongside your CRES degree.
The Conflict and Dispute Resolution (CRES) master's program, offered through the School of Law, equips students with both theoretical understanding and practical skills to address conflicts across diverse settings. This interdisciplinary curriculum consists of four key components: foundational courses, electives, internships, and a capstone project. The core coursework blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on training to establish a strong base. Students can then tailor their electives, internship(s), and final project to align with specific focus areas. Potential conflict resolution fields include restorative justice, education, environmental issues, public policy, international relations, workplace dynamics, family mediation, labor relations, community disputes, and more. Program graduates unlock numerous professional pathways.
