The wind conducting curriculum focuses on analyzing wind repertoire, podium leadership, rehearsal strategies, administrative management, score analysis, and practical conducting experience.
Across all three disciplines, a tight-knit group of graduate students collaborates in a dynamic, rigorous, and nurturing setting. For the last decade, every graduate has secured positions in the music field or advanced to prestigious doctoral studies.
Faculty conductors guide a chosen cohort of graduate students through a comprehensive program blending theory, pedagogy, and practical performance. Our two-year master's degrees in choral, orchestral, and wind conducting help seasoned educator-conductors refine their skills.
In each program, a select group of graduate students learns together in a stimulating, demanding, and encouraging atmosphere. Throughout the past decade, every program graduate has either obtained professional opportunities in music or continued to elite doctoral programs.
