Our K-12 special education generalist licensure program offers pre-service training to develop skilled professionals capable of creating, implementing, and enhancing educational, vocational, and community opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This comprehensive two-year program addresses evolving educational needs for all students.
The curriculum aligns with contemporary general education standards, certification frameworks, modern reform initiatives, and 21st-century student objectives. It prepares future special education instructors to partner effectively with general educators, helping students achieve state academic benchmarks.
