The women's, gender, and sexuality studies program investigates gender and sexuality across all aspects of society - including political, cultural, economic, and physical realms. Using an interdisciplinary approach, students analyze how gender, race, class, sexual orientation, and ability influence individual identities, perspectives, opportunities, and actions. The curriculum covers diverse power structures through courses on black feminist thought, global feminisms, and feminist perspectives on history, literature, and arts.
