Transform your surroundings by crafting products that are practical, energy-conscious, ergonomically sound, budget-friendly, and socially conscious. As part of our program, you'll tackle actual design problems alongside peers, industry partners, and instructors.

The product design curriculum equips students with the expertise, techniques, and approaches needed for a design career through classes in product design, fine arts, and digital arts within the Art and Design School. Students spend their first three years on the Eugene campus before transitioning to Portland for their final year to complete their BFA degrees.
During their Portland studies, students often secure design internships with local companies, frequently resulting in employment at major brands like Columbia, Nike, Pendleton, and innovative firms such as Tesla and Amazon. Our graduates have also founded successful ventures including Digital Craft, Algotek, and Johnson Workwear, among others.
