Our photography courses focus on conceptual thinking and contextual understanding, treating creative process as a pathway to artistic goals. To broaden students' awareness of photography's diverse potential, we provide varied classes including Film & Darkroom Techniques, Large Format Photography, The Photographic Book (Digital Photography II), Alternative Processes, Conceptual Approaches, Constructed Imagery, and Advanced Photography, all integrated with contemporary critical theory. Students gain hands-on experience with both digital and analog techniques while honing their analytical and writing abilities across the program.
At the undergraduate level, we build technical and theoretical foundations through structured coursework that prepares students for specialized study in their chosen photographic paths.
