The Master of Science program is tailored for individuals seeking to enhance their professional skills or prepare for doctoral studies. This curriculum mandates 24 semester hours of coursework plus 6 semester hours dedicated to thesis completion. Alternatively, the non-thesis track requires 33 semester hours of classes, with students needing to successfully complete an oral comprehensive exam.
Students must choose between the thesis or non-thesis option before completing their second semester in the OU CS Master's program.
