Human Relations is an interdisciplinary domain that champions democratic principles, activism, and equitable justice. This program equips students with competencies to engage with varied communities and address institutionalized social and workplace disparities. The curriculum centers on three key domains: Counseling - Develops expertise to assist individuals across diverse environments including family service agencies, healthcare facilities, and mental health practices. Ideal for aspiring counselors and support professionals, the MHR Clinical Mental Health Counseling track meets Oklahoma's 60-credit requirement for LPC licensure. Organizational Studies - Examines workplace dynamics, diversity management, HR development, and leadership. Beyond exploring intersections of identity factors, it tackles work-life balance, corporate ethics, and societal accountability. Social Justice and Change - Teaches systemic analysis, change implementation strategies, program design and evaluation, fundraising, and nonprofit management and leadership.
