The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering provides both bachelor's and advanced degree programs in electrical and computer engineering. Our devoted faculty ensures top-tier educational offerings. Faculty achievements have led to significant accomplishments, with research funding reaching $5.17 million in 2007 from diverse supporters like the NSF, NIH, and U.S. Department of Transportation, focusing on key areas such as Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, Solid State, Transportation, and Display Technology. Additional backing comes from OCAST and local industry collaborators. Multiple MS ECE pathways exist, featuring thesis-based, General Track (Comprehensive Exam) non-thesis, Industrial Internship non-thesis, and a specialized non-thesis concentration in Deregulated Electric Power offered jointly with the Business College.
