The Department of Political Science serves as the intellectual hub for professors, staff, undergraduate scholars, and graduate researchers passionate about political studies and academic growth. The department provides two bachelor's programs—one in political science and another in public and nonprofit administration—along with master's degrees in political science and public administration, plus a PhD in political science. Recognized as one of the University of Oklahoma's most diverse academic units, the department fosters exploration across numerous disciplines including American government, global comparative systems, international affairs, policy analysis, administrative studies, and political philosophy.
