Qualification Requirements

Complete the UNT Graduate Application for your selected starting semester (Fall or Spring start date only) for the Toulouse Graduate School via Apply Texas. Designate Social Work as your intended major field. If you have an undergraduate degree in something other than social work, choose the Traditional subplan. If you have a BSW degree, choose the Advanced Standing subplan.
Submit official transcripts.
A complete UNT MSW Department Application is required for all applicants. This form provides the department with needed contact information, your list of three professional references, and responses to a two-part personal statement. Letters of reference are not required, however, program faculty may reach out to listed professional references during the admissions process. Please note that your responses to the personal statement questions should be both complete and concise. Responses have a 500-word limit per question.
