The Master of Science in Health Informatics (MS-HI) program at UNT prepares future leaders in health informatics to utilize data science and information management strategies for enhancing patient-centered healthcare across diverse settings.
Instruction is provided by faculty with real-world healthcare experience and research backgrounds addressing global health issues. Our interdisciplinary curriculum and research initiatives unite faculty and students from healthcare, information science, data science, and IT fields. We seek to enroll talented, diverse students passionate about leveraging technology to address healthcare challenges.
Program participants benefit from immersive classroom learning and collaborative opportunities with educational institutions, industry partners, and government agencies. They receive faculty guidance, access to student organizations, and career advancement resources.
Our biannual Health Informatics Lecture Series showcases industry experts, while students are supported in joining professional organizations and building connections within the health informatics community.
