The University of North Texas Interdisciplinary Information Science Ph.D. Program (IS Ph.D. Program) addresses the diverse and evolving demands of the digital era by offering a Journalism Concentration in collaboration with the UNT Mayborn School of Journalism. Developed in partnership with UNT Mayborn School of Journalism, the University of North Texas Information Science Ph.D. Program with a journalism concentration meets the dynamic requirements of our information-driven society, acknowledging the growing importance of data and digital tools in personal, social, economic, and cultural contexts. The program attracts students from diverse academic backgrounds, fostering the development of expertise in emerging interdisciplinary areas of information science.
