The Psychology department fosters a fair and welcoming atmosphere that promotes both academic excellence and personal development for students and faculty alike. Our curriculum introduces you to diverse viewpoints shaping contemporary psychological studies, including historical foundations, theoretical frameworks, human development, and various approaches like social, multicultural, clinical, cognitive, and biological psychology.
Undergraduate classes are led by distinguished faculty and graduate students with expertise in both theoretical concepts and research methodologies. We aim to provide students with a scientific understanding of psychological principles while demonstrating their real-world applications. Additionally, our department houses a Psi Chi chapter, the National Psychology Honor Society, which offers community service initiatives and internship possibilities while upholding rigorous academic standards.
