Regardless of your professional journey, mastering communication is an essential ability to cultivate. The field of communication studies explores human interaction across diverse settings, from personal relationships to digital platforms, workplaces, politics, and creative spheres. By earning a communication studies degree, our students gain expertise in communication theories and research, refine their communication abilities (verbal, written, interpersonal, and collaborative), and strengthen their qualifications for various career paths or advanced education.
During your studies, you'll investigate human interaction in creative, cross-cultural, personal, digital, legal, professional, and political environments. You'll have chances to examine subjects like diversity and social justice, mass media, healthcare, sports, physical expression, and more.
The program offers three specialized tracks:
Personal, Digital, and Professional Communication investigates how communication theories apply in various situations. It analyzes how both human and digital interactions shape societies, communities, and individuals while teaching effective communication strategies for different organizational settings.
Culture, Communication, and Public Dialogue studies communication's role in shaping and evolving cultures. It investigates how communication functions in persuasion, public advocacy, speeches, and policy-making.
Performance Studies focuses on how performance is fundamental to human and cultural development. We constantly adopt different roles, using performance as a means to convey various messages.
