The Department of Educational Leadership at Watson College of Education comprises a vibrant community of educators and researchers dedicated to enhancing leadership across educational systems. Our teaching, research, and outreach initiatives foster the exploration and application of approaches that advance equity, worldwide viewpoints, inventive thinking, and organizational development—core principles we view as fundamental to effective educational leadership. We demonstrate this commitment through: 1) delivering thoughtfully structured programs in educational administration, curriculum design, higher education, and leadership studies, 2) producing academic work that informs educational methods, policies, and frameworks, and 3) participating in service activities that support practitioner and scholarly networks at local, national, and global levels.
