Students pursuing graduate studies in Cognitive, Developmental, Social, or Quantitative Psychology complete a shared curriculum with consistent requirements, while their research projects and specialized seminars concentrate on their individual academic passions.
Our approach emphasizes collaboration, and the intimate scale of our program guarantees personalized guidance for every student. While each student primarily works with a faculty advisor in a mentorship framework, they also enjoy significant flexibility to partner with other professors and peers both inside and outside the Department. We actively promote students to co-author publications with multiple faculty members prior to graduation. Greensboro's strategic position in North Carolina fosters strong connections with other leading institutions, offering our students valuable chances to enroll in courses, work jointly on projects, and build professional relationships.
