The psychology program focuses on cultivating and utilizing scientific knowledge about the mind and behavior across four key psychological domains: clinical, cognitive, developmental, and social.
Students build a strong foundation that equips them for careers requiring expertise in behavioral and cognitive principles. Many full-time psychology faculty members run research laboratories, offering students chances to develop skills, contribute to publications, and showcase work at academic conferences.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Professors have secured funding from prominent organizations including the National Science Foundation, National Institute of Mental Health, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Both faculty and students regularly present findings at leading global conferences and publish in respected journals such as Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, Psychological Bulletin, Psychological Science, Journal of Abnormal Psychology, Child Development, and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
Freshmen must have completed minimum high school course requirements.
English Language Proficiency exams for direct entry: IBT TOEFL 79 minimum; IELTS 6.5 minimum; ELS 112 score report, PTE Academic 53 and Duolingo English Test DET 105.
