The Peace and Conflict Studies (PCS) Program employs an innovative, cross-disciplinary method for examining peace and applying techniques of conflict management, resolution, and change. Students pursuing this undergraduate major will acquire knowledge of peace theory and research while participating in community initiatives that actively address and reshape conflicts.
The Bachelor of Arts in PCS offers two flexible formats: online and traditional campus-based. The online option features self-paced digital coursework and can be finished entirely through remote learning.

UNCG's Peace & Conflict Studies BA program earned the #2 spot in Social Work Degree Guide's 2019 ranking of top Negotiation and Conflict Management bachelor's degrees.
Core principles encompass: promoting cross-disciplinary teamwork, achieving meaningful peace, embracing the gradual process of conflict resolution, developing research-backed conflict resolution abilities, participating in community outreach, persistently advancing peace studies and application, upholding rigorous academic standards, supporting social and environmental sustainability, and championing fairness and equality.
Freshmen must have completed minimum high school course requirements.
English Language Proficiency exams for direct entry: IBT TOEFL 79 minimum; IELTS 6.5 minimum; ELS 112 score report, PTE Academic 53 and Duolingo English Test DET 105.
