The Bryan School's Economics curriculum equips students with knowledge of economic theories, frameworks, and systems, empowering them to evaluate diverse business and policy challenges. The BA program complements a broad liberal arts foundation spanning sciences, humanities, and arts, enhancing students' capacity to utilize economic thinking across various disciplines including public policy and social sciences.
Our distinguished faculty hold PhDs from and have taught at premier institutions such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, Johns Hopkins, and Duke.
Over 80% of undergraduate economics courses are led by doctoral-level professors.
Numerous faculty members bring professional economics experience to UNC Greensboro while maintaining active research in their specialized areas.
Exceptional students can enroll in graduate-level courses through the Accelerated Master's Program (AMP) while completing their bachelor's degree.
The program maintains accreditation through the National Association for Business Economics (NABE) and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB).
Freshmen must have completed minimum high school course requirements.
English Language Proficiency exams for direct entry: IBT TOEFL 79 minimum; IELTS 6.5 minimum; ELS 112 score report, PTE Academic 53 and Duolingo English Test DET 105.
