The CCNE-accredited Master of Science in Nursing program equips nurses for advanced roles in Nurse Anesthesia Across the Lifespan, Advanced Clinical Nursing, or Systems/Populations Nursing. Current Advanced Clinical Practice specializations feature Family Nurse Practitioner Across the Lifespan and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, while Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing remains inactive. Systems/Population options encompass Community/Public Health Nursing, Nurse Administration, and Nurse Education. The program offers three post-master's certificates: Nurse Anesthesia Across the Lifespan, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and Family Nurse Practitioner Across the Lifespan. Additionally, two graduate certificates are available: Nurse Administrator and Nurse Educator. Concentration availability depends on enrollment numbers, with each specialization having its own detailed description.
Program graduates qualify to sit for the ANCC's advanced certification exams in their respective specialties or other professional credentialing tests. Those completing the Nurse Anesthesia track become eligible to take the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists' certification examination.
