The Master of Science in Athletic Training equips students for national certification and licensure as athletic trainers, opening doors to diverse career paths in educational institutions, healthcare facilities, corporate settings, professional sports organizations, military branches, and research centers.
The program curriculum focuses on: evidence-based approaches, injury prevention strategies, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, emergency care protocols, medication management, rehabilitation techniques, exercise therapy, chronic health conditions, nutrition for recovery, mental health support, healthcare operations, and professional growth. Learners acquire the competencies required to successfully complete the Board of Certification (BOC) examination.

Statement of Purpose, 500 to 1000 words describing the applicant's educational goals and expectations of the program
For non-native English language speakers: official and satisfactory scores on the English language proficiency scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) are required. A minimum score of 83 on the Internet-based TOEFL or a minimum overall band score of 6.5 on the IELTS is required for admissions consideration.
