The Master of Arts in Counseling program offers three specialization tracks: (a) Addiction Counseling, (b) School Counseling, and (c) Clinical Mental Health Counseling. While sharing common foundational courses, each track has distinct focus areas. The Addiction Counseling specialization equips graduates to address diverse addictive disorders across treatment environments. School Counseling students develop skills to deliver comprehensive counseling services while serving as educational leaders in K-12 settings. The Clinical Mental Health track prepares professionals to counsel clients of all ages in various settings including agencies, nonprofits, and private practices. Additionally, students may enhance any specialization with a Play Therapy concentration.
