The dual M.Arch./M.U.D program's coursework is outlined below. Candidates accepted into this track generally take M.Arch classes during their initial year, transition to M.U.D. studies in their second year including the summer program, then return to M.Arch coursework in their final year to fulfill degree requirements.
Tailored study plans for the combined M.U.D./M.A. in Geography (Community Planning) and M.U.D./M.S.R.E. (Real Estate) pathways are created to match each student's needs after they gain admission to both programs.

Qualification Requirements

UNC Charlotte's Graduate School admissions requirements and the SoA's expected entry-level competencies for MArch I Candidates include:
introductory college-level pre-calculus course
introductory college-level physics course
minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0
the GRE is optional if an applicant's B.A. or B.S. cumulative GPA is 3.25 or above
minimum internet-based TOEFL score of 83 or minimum IETLS overall band score of 6.5 (for international applicants)
