The Master of Urban Design (MUD) is a rigorous one-year graduate program designed for professionals holding degrees in architecture, landscape architecture, or urban planning. This intensive curriculum cultivates collaborative designers skilled at operating across various scales while deepening their expertise in urban environments—examining how buildings, landscapes, infrastructure, and social dynamics interconnect.
This distinctive interdisciplinary program brings together top-tier architects, landscape architects, and planners for a concentrated 12-month educational journey. Participants exchange methodologies, develop new competencies, and investigate innovative approaches under the guidance of a multidisciplinary faculty from Environmental Design's Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and City Planning departments.
