The nonprofit management specialization requires fifteen credit hours as part of the MPA program. To qualify, students must meet these criteria: complete twelve consecutive months of full-time work in a government entity, nonprofit, or relevant business (or be actively pursuing another graduate degree). Qualification Requirements

Admission to the Graduate Certificate program in Nonprofit Management is open to graduates of a college or university accredited by an accepted accrediting body. To apply, the student must meet the following requirements:
A completed Graduate Admissions application form and statement of professional goals
12 months of full-time continuous employment in a government agency, nonprofit organization, or appropriate business organization (or be currently enrolled in another graduate program). This requirement may be waived for students who already have a Master's degree.
Two official transcripts from post-secondary educational institutions
Three letters of recommendation from academic or professional sources
An overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
A minimum TOEFL score of 220 (computer-based), 557 (paper-based), or 83 (Internet-based) or a minimum IELTS band score of 6.5 required from any applicant whose native language is not English
