The B.S.M.E. with an Energy Engineering Concentration program is designed for students seeking focused and structured education in power generation. Graduates who fulfill the program requirements earn a special transcript designation indicating completion of the Energy Engineering Concentration. Mechanical engineering represents one of the most comprehensive engineering fields. Mechanical engineers engage with nearly every technological challenge confronting modern society. Their key responsibilities include addressing issues surrounding the conversion, utilization, and preservation of finite energy resources. Other significant domains for mechanical engineers encompass designing and analyzing machinery, structures, and manufacturing processes that support national industrial production. This design and analysis work increasingly relies on computer-based methods through computer-aided design (CAD/CAM) technologies.

We recommend completion of 4 courses of English language and literature, 4 courses of Mathematics, 3 courses of Science, 2 courses of History/Social Science, and 2 courses of the same Foreign Language (which may be English).
TOEFL IBT: 70 or higher (minimum of 14 in each sub score).
IELTS: 6.0 or higher (minimum of 5.0 in each sub score)

SAT: 500 on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing
