The Applied Energy and Sustainable Systems Concentration offers B.S. in Construction Management students specialized focus areas. The Bachelor of Science in Construction Management (BSCM) program prepares graduates for careers across various construction sectors—residential, commercial, industrial, and heavy civil—as well as related fields like real estate development, infrastructure planning, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment.
This Construction Management curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning in core competencies, including blueprint interpretation, construction techniques, budgeting, scheduling, and project oversight.
Complementing these technical skills, the program incorporates essential business coursework in data analysis, software tools, economic principles, financial reporting, organizational leadership, logistics, and legal frameworks—enabling students to optionally pursue a Business minor with an Operations and Supply Chain Management emphasis.
