The Bachelor of Music (B.M.) specializing in Choral/General Music Education prepares vocalists for careers as school choir conductors or general music teachers. This program comprises 31 general education credits, 61 music-focused credits covering fundamental musicianship and performance training, plus 26 professional education credits qualifying graduates for North Carolina's K-12 teaching certification. Degree completion requires both a Senior Recital and Student Teaching practicum.
