The Department of Mathematics and Statistics provides an undergraduate program culminating in a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a Mathematics major specializing in Actuarial Science. This curriculum equips students with fundamental knowledge and practical abilities to launch careers in the actuarial field. Actuarial professionals work across various sectors including insurance providers, government bodies, healthcare systems, major corporations, and advisory services, where they develop and evaluate insurance products and retirement plans.
