The Department of Languages and Culture Studies offers programs focused on enhancing linguistic abilities while fostering cultural understanding through language, literature, and translation studies. Beyond major and minor degrees, as well as undergraduate certificates, the department provides courses in Ancient/Modern Greek, Farsi, Hebrew, Latin, Portuguese, Swahili, and additional languages, available upon request or via the NC Language Exchange.
