Students have the option to pursue a Concentration in Social Justice and the Law within the B.A. in Africana Studies program. This specialization examines the cultural, ethical, historical, psychological, policy-related, and societal aspects of key social justice and legal matters affecting the global African diaspora. To fulfill this concentration, students must complete 30 credit hours of Africana Studies coursework as outlined below.
