Africana Studies provides students with a comprehensive and analytical perspective on the history, accomplishments, and cultural impact of African-descended populations globally. Foundational courses focus on theoretical frameworks and research approaches specific to Africana Studies. The curriculum develops scholarly abilities while promoting rigorous investigation and interpretation to comprehend connections between - and resolutions for - political, social, artistic, and economic transformations across Africa and its worldwide diaspora.
